Suffering From Exposed Roots Can Be Painful

Fluoride is also important because it increases the strength of the remaining enamel. In severe conditions, it may be necessary to get a surgical gum graft or a root canal.

The last two procedures are the most permanent way to prevent an exposed root from becoming an abscess. They will block the exposed area and keep it from getting infected.
